Today, I went to detail a stunning Glacier White RenaultSport Megane R26, with black wheels.
The intention was to knock back some swirling with Lime Prime via Rotary, then top with Supernatural. However... the paint was ROCK HARD. I made a schoolboy error also and didn't take anything more potent than Menz 203S, so mid detail I had to head back home to pick up some 3.02 and Megs #105.
I spent 10 hours on this in total - I was a little weary of using Megs 105, especially on the plastic panels, so I opted for a hit of 3.02 via green 3M pad, then 203S via Festool Orange pad (what an awesome pad this is!!), then refined with Lime Prime and 3M yellow pad.
This was then topped with 2x Supernatural, and wiped down with Z Field Glaze. The wheels were sealed with Planet Polish Wheel Seal and Shine, and plastics and tyres dressed with CG NLTG.
Due to the lighting, most of my pics are very poor
However, I got a couple from when I discovered my neon lighting mode :speechles
It's such an awesome car in the flesh, and the quality of the interior is a notable step up from my Clio... I fancy one... watch this space

I'm loving the H&R springs...

The owner has an R27 in Liquid Yellow also, which I should be doing shortly...
Thanks for looking.
