Decat. Yes or no?

Okay so, I currently have a scorpion exhaust on my Clio 200 and upon looking for some bits for my car I stumbled across a decat pipe. Now, I was always against them but a lot of people on here use them. What are people's opinions on them? Do they recommend them? And also how easy is it to put the cat back on when it's going for the MOT and what not?

De cat it i have with my scorpion no res, not that much louder but lets a lot more pops out, and no one battered an eye lid when it went for an MOT even the emissions were fine

And is there a major difference on the petrol running costs?

i wouldn't say so, but as you may know already they aren't great on fuel to start with,

If you call 27mpg great to begin with around town, you're mad lmao! I sometimes hit 26mpg doing 30 in places. These are special cars that require special sums of money for the running costs <3 Don't think you'll find much difference in the fuelling with the decat. May lean it out a bit though so you might get a flatspot.

I think I'm going down the decat route with my Supersprint... So yes to your question.

As for the running/fuel cost I doubt you'll notice anything.... I average around 26-27 on the daily/weekly commute
