Decat or no decat...

Basically I'm getting a 2nd hand Ktec pro system fitted on sat on the 200, the exhaust has come with a decat pipe already connected, now I'm in 2 minds whether to keep the cat or not, I think it's gonna be waaay too loud and then there's the flat spot issue, has anyone got a pro on there 197/200 and how loud is it? There's only a couple of vids on YouTube and it's hard to tell.

I had the first K-tec system with sports cat on my first 197 and loved it...something to think about ?

Less/no flat spot and not as loud lower in the rev range.

From what i have heard on here decatting the 197/200 will require mapping afterwards for the best gains. Have also heard you get a bigger more noticeable flat spot lower down the rev range.

That's why I'm thinking of keeping the cat as it's less hassle

It sounds amazing! it makes the flat spot worse which dosnt matter at first but then after a couple of months it really started to p1ss me off! (flat spot not the noise) I'd say decat, the if it starts to annoy you, you could always put the cat in or get it remapped!!

Already had the decat done mate, just debating whether to take it to rs tuning for a remap or not
