Hi guys quick thread, only had the car just over 3 weeks already got ktec panel filter, 30mm springs and this sat soon to get a custom cat back from mij exhaust? Has anybody had one of these before or an exhaust from MIJ and it's gunna be a non resonated cat back and what gains would I receive from this with and without a remap and I duno wether to keep the panel filter or swap it for a complete induction kit? Recommendations anyone ??

you won’t get any gains pal and you willneed a map afterwards the only benefit is the sound in regards to MIJ there ok Ihad my de cat and silencer removed buy them they did an alright job but I wouldn’tuse them again but that’s personal preference the job they did was fair and theprice was reasonable
No gains? Must be something from a bigger pipe with less silencers ect?
I know there is with mine, around 6bhp with the decat or something.
to this day ive yet to see a zaust make and BPH unless its been maped and in fact most make the cars worse before map due to the fact they make the flatspot larger ...
Now with a map then that makes things compleatly different
Not sure about the MIJ zaust never heard of them:001_unsure:but with a good induction set up it should free up a few bhp.
I do not have a flat spot bud!mined you it's not driven around 2500-3000 revs much hahaha!
It just goes to show that there's more to an exhaust than making it more free flowing.
Every system out there will giver you a flat spot, bar the akrapovic (which also removes the 2nd cat) That system has obviously been properly developed/pulse tuned etc.

Quik update the exhaust is on stainless steel cat back 2.5" centre section pipe throught to a mid sports back box and welded tips. Will get pics and video up soon as I'm home , great sound when the car is on the boil not too loud on the motorway at all down changing is nice too happy , how ever thinking of getting it mapped as it is now till the summer anybody know where I can get it done north west area??
