Creaky rear?

I get a creak from the rear drivers side when getting in and out of the car. It did this before and after fitting the eibachs so am pretty sure its not the springs. Could it be the handbrake cable?

Also does the same when jacking it up so it's when the suspension gets compressed

have you tried loosening the damper lower bolts and trailing arm pivots bolts then torquing them up with the weight of the car on them ie as it free stands on the road

I get it from the handbrake cable when putting heavy stuff in the car

Haven't tried it, would it be worth sticking a bit of copper grease between the bush and contact surface whilst I'm at it?

not so sure on that one - try a bit of silicone spray will penetrate better
