Coolant Reservoir

OK folks I was buffing my car today and heard a rattling and had a look under the bonnet. The coolant reservoir wasn't clipped on to the front of the car any more and a had dropped a bit. It also had the cap loosened up! the coolant level is close to minimum!

first off how do I get this back on the bumper? its quite disturbing and it keeps popping out!

second what type of coolant is used? does it matter? what colour should it be?

the bottle should have i 10mm bolt holding it on to the front panel and the bottle slides it to a locating bracket, it shuld have a greeny coloured coolant in it, dont know why your bottle have just come off tho

bugger and bugger its brownish ?

If its brown then I would get one of them antifreeze testers that tell you what the performance of the coolant is.

If its not doing its job then get it flushed and changed.

I think ill get it flushed and new stuff put in! what's the recommended name/brand etc?
