Coilovers /Insurance Complications

Maybe a silly question, people who have coilovers fitted, are all declared to insurance?

If not - reasons why?

If so, how much did it affect your policy, money wise etc

Cheers

Most non specialist insurers wont allow you to go less then 50mm lower.

But to most if your declared as lowered it dont matter if its a spring kit, full kit or coil-overs.

price its fully dependent on your current insurance situation.

Mine are declared but couldn't tell you how much they add as everything is declared on mine.
They asked me how much the car was lowered by but mine is lower than the lowest the lady listed so had to do it as a special suspension.

I declared my KW's, and my fully comp insurance with protected no claims still came to under £400 with Adrian Flux.

Kw lower the rear about 1.5" at the lowest setting.

Front will go down about 3" though for some reason.
I had custom springs made so the rear will go just as low as the front though.
