Clutch slave cylinder

Hi all

I am looking to swap out the clutch soon, do i need to replace the slave cylinder? Is this internal or external of the gearbox?

It's cost effective to do both at the same time. The slave isn't hugely expensive and you can buy both as a kit.

In my 197 the slave failed before the clutch did.

Made by LUK however still the metal pipe over the plastic.
