Well that would require the owners to actually appear and post about the event.

If you see them say hi

I have always wanted to go but it always seems to fall at the wrong time of year for me with family commitments/holidays etc., etc.

Anglesey is a great circuit - even if it does take me longer to get there from Essex than the Nurburgring!

It’s the driving standards that put me off lol

Unsure if it’s mellowed out, but few years back it used to be a free for all and some horrendous driving standards.
Interesting. Can't comment first hand obviously but that might track dependent and might be different now its at Angelsey rather than Blyton as you can get away with a few bits a Blyton you wouldn't elsewhere imho.

Though I do have a gut feeling that it will be knuckle draggers from the facebook pages that bring it down though.

I also do worry that it would be quite cliquey as well.

Well, if you got to Nurburgring again let me know, i'd love to go with a crew.
And being Sussex coast am a bit closer, like you, than the Northerners

Anglesey was really enjoyable to be honest
Friendly organisers, friendly participants- not clicky- and generally a really good day. Weather helped.

The site staff were really chatty and helpful too. Would deffo go back even though it was an 8hr journey (With couple short stops)

Raffle was funny (We won the booby prize thank you lol)

Weve been to Cliofest, Blyton, a couple times a few year back. Always enjoyable, but the circuit was more boring (imo) than Anglesey- just a big square really, so it encourages participants to be more adventurous (Lets say) making driving standards seem lower. I can agree. I even let rip a few times at Blyton resulting in a few heated messages. Hey ho, thats passed.

Anglesey standards seemed pretty good to me.( But you have to have fun too) Thoroughly enjoyable circuit (I did Coastal in aftnoon and loved the chicane, and sweeping bends)

Took me a while to get used to.
Didnt get more than a couple spueals on the first few laps, and toward end of day was pretty much sliding around all the corners, at not a bad speed. Lovely

Just a shame its 335 miles away from me

Proud of my 2006/ 92,000 mile Clio too. 800 odd miles for the whole trip, including 100 miles on track, got us home and no issues to report. Altho i was pretty twitch when setting off, as front brakes were on my mind due to this n that. They held up well, resulting in faster cornering

Hotel was top notch too.

Met a few forum members. Shout outs to Chris (Megane Nardo grey) Steve (Liquid yellow Megane Trophy) and Richard (Red 197 291BHP Meglio, air vents and big back wing) whom I had good conversations with. And of course the inimitable, boogey woogie, Sunglasses Ron- looks same if not better than 5 year ago . LOL See u all next time.

All considered, a really good long weekend for us - and thanks to the Organisers- they did very well.
