Clio R.S. 200 EDC - Slovenian Presentation

Hi guys!

I have attended Slovenian Presentation of new Clio R.S. 200 EDC and Clio GT EDC yesterday. First, we have short presentation, and then, test drives

R.S. 200 EDC on CUP chassis is softer than Clio RS200 (CUP or nonCUP). Seats are softer too, and don't have enough side grip. EDC (gearbox) is fast (150ms in RACE mode), launch control works better on SPORT mode (ESP/ASR partly works). Brakes are not worse than Brembo's on older RS.

Short drag race with my RS200. R.S.200 EDC is faster (I think), but only in 2nd gear (and later). We don't have longer straight to test...

to be fair i take all the motor magazines reveiws with a pinch of salt, because theres always going to be bias views towards one or the other. cant see the new one being a bad car as everyone makes out

It pains me to say, the new R.s is starting to grow on me slightly :/

You can see clearly in photo 3 that the seats have less side grip than the RS200's standard ones.

The 200T is growing on me too...gradually

quite the opposite for me tbh,it gets worse everytime i look at it,it doesn't even look sporty or anything

In one way it is growing on me and then other times i look at it and think no especally the front with the over sized diamond

I can live with everything on the new 200 apart from the gear box this just destroys everything for me. So unless I lose my left leg I won't be getting one

Still does nothing for me...just looks very average.

The centre console is horrendous, the 5 doors etc...just doesn't tickle my fancy at all right now, who knows maybe it will grow on me, but I certainly won't be trading in my 200 for one.

As previous have said - the diamond, the centre console, 5 doors, the fake engine noises, the gear box ... just ergh!

I think it looks great, bog standard 197's and 200's look crap IMO, this looks really good. I bet once they are modified they will look amazing and have really good road presence!

To be fair, it does look very modern compared, but for the better? Debatable.
