clio 200 sidelight bulb replacement with LEDs... easy, hard, any recommendations

Hi guys

my clio 200 has a sidelight out so was going to replace with some nice crisp white LED bulbs...... first question is....

Are they easy to access????? second

What bulbs have people used that give a nice super bright white LED light.....

Hi mate. The bulbs aren't very straightforward to change in the Clio unfortunately. However this guide http://www.clio197.net/forum/showth...ront-bulbs-on-a-197-amp-200-(inc-projectors-) explains how to do it. When you've done it once it becomes a lot easier. It's still a faff though!

As for the LEDs, I can't recommend any as I've not used them, however I use http://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/home.php for all my bulb-related needs

You'll need the CANbus ones, non-CANbus ones will start to flicker after a while. Have a look on eBay and you'll see the insane choice you have! I find Auto Bulbs Direct great for information but it's quite pricey

You DON'T need the canbus ones.

If they start to flicker it is likely they are just poor quality ones and nothing to do with them not being canbus.

Look on eBay for the seller: partsulike_co_uk

Nice and cheap, VERY fast delivery and 1 year warranty. I've had 10's of LED's from him and they are always perfect.

I was just going from my experience. I bought non-CANbus LEDs from a seller on eBay called fizzmo (or something) and lots of them started flickering, then bought CANbus ones from the same seller and they are fine.
