maybe they revised the wiring loom in the later 200's?


the OEM speakers I took out today look different to the 197 - I can't remember the 197 OEM speakers having a tweeter built in to the cone
maybe they fitted better door speakers and did away with the dash tweeter?



my mrs just picked up a new captur and the tweeter grilles look the same as the ones I just bought so I migh try and fit them to her car - if no I've paid a lot I money for components when I could have bought a generic 13cm instead!

The wires were just dangling ive read on a few threads tht it just seems to be hit and miss if the wires are there or not

pretty sure mine has none

looked at a French forum and there was a bloke with a 200 who fitted OEM tweeters and did a how too guide of which pin to wire them into on the head unit harness etc

seems later cars don't have the wires there ready
