Clio 200 cup dampers

I have ordered some new front dampers for my clio 200 cup which is a 59 plate and he had said that the part number for these I'd the same as the 197 cup is this correct?

I know the car is before they changed the top mount, does anyone have any part numbers they can throw up?

nope the part isnt the same, 200 cup dampers are stiffer than 197 one.

Wouldn't the 200 shock fit? The top of the shock shaft should screw into his stock 197 top mount.

The 200 cup and 197 cup pre 2010 use the same top mount. I just want to know if the pre 2010 200 cups came with different shocks to the 197 cup?

That gives a great choice, you can get the pre Aug 2010 RS200 cup shock or the post Aug 2010 RS200 shock if you want it 15% stiffer

So if the post aug 2010 shock is 15% stiffer than the pre aug 2010 shock, how much stiffer is the pre aug 2010 shock over the 197 cup shock?

I was under the impression all 200 cup shocks regardless of top mount where the same stiffness?

all 200cup shocks are the same stiffness, regardless of the date, and are 15% stiffer than 197cup shocks.
