Clio 197 indicator bulbs

Hi, any had a problem with the 197 indicator bulb just staying on?

All down my drivers side indicators won't turn off! They just stay on with no flashing when the car is started? I've changed all the bulbs so no issue there. Couple things I have noticed is that if I take out the front indicator bulb they they all switch of as normal?

The other thing is.. sometimes it works as normal...then all of sudden they just stay on again.. ‍‍ lol.

Any one else had this problem or got any ideas lol.. many thanks.

Dont quote me on this but I believe that the MK3 Clio had a common fault with the indicator stack and some of them even blew up / caught fire.
This is prob one suspect it all bulbs and fuses are fine.

Next is that it could be a bad earth so its worth checking all you earth cables, This is the cheapest and easiest option as it only costs time.
Have a look at them all and check to make sure they are not snapped / corroded, If they are corroded get a good wire brush & emery paper and give them a good clean and bolt them back up.
