Clio 197/Early 200 top mount change

So after working out what was wrong with my suspension and what was causing the knock, I found it to be the RH Top mount, but I'm going to be changing them both anyway for the sakes of it, is it a particularly hard job?
Seen a few posts about removing the whole strut from the car and that seems quite the ball ache/ no short way round or am i just gonna have to go the long way round

The whole damper and spring assembly needs tone removed. From experience I'd recommend removing the whole hub assembly by splitting the forward facing ball joint on the wishbone from the hub. Can swap the mount over and then put it all back together easier that way.
