Cleaning your mats

Stupidly, I used the Renaultsport mats through the winter, and now they are looking a bit worse for wear.



I might just take the hit and replace them, but how could I try to salvage them?



How do you lot clean them? I simple hoover will not suffice.

try wet vac mate used it on mine they came up ok not 100% but alot better than just a hoover

Jet wash the muck out.
Then just leave them to dry.
Obviously better to do it when the weather warms up so they can dry outside.

Do you have any meguiars All Purpose Cleaner? or any all purpose cleaner will do? Simply hover all the dirt and then spray till quite moist and then scrub hard with a medium brush. Hover again to remove the dirt that comes free and will leave your car smelling fresh. Thats if you want to avoid washing them.

Yeah as above, best way really. Megs do a decent brush which you can get in Halfords.

Use a foam fabric cleaner. Works a treat for me

A weak solution of flash or any other all purpose cleaner nice n warm on a micro fibre cloth and scrub em cleam just dont scrub too hard around the edges,

Also be careful if you preasure was em as if you hold the jet to close youll shave the matts! ;/
