Clean Amp Install?

I'm toying with the idea of having an under seat amp.
Only issue is that I don't want to run random wires through the engine bay. What's stopping me from taking the live at the Fusebox inside the car?
From what I understand I could run 12V Live to the amp and the remote lead will turn it off and on with the radio.

So I was thinking, 12V wired to the Internal fuse box next to the centre console, wire under to passenger seat to the amp.
Yay or Nay and why.

You need a good clean live feed ideally, running through the fuse box would work, but might not give enough juice. I'd be worried about the main fuses too, iirc most fuses with amp cabling is at least 80A.
