Changing Front Bulbs

I recently changed all my front bulbs, and i was struggling with the passenger side.I'd looked on here but couldnt find a good enough guide. Id heard it all "bumper off, Wheel arch liner....." After spending a few minutes weighing up my options i noticed that our secondary air intake has 2 little nuts holding it on. A simple 10mm socket set was all that was needed and it took less than 2 minutes to do.

So to start, Drivers side is extremely easy;
First remove this little pop-rivet like thing and you have access to both sections (both head lights and side lights) I have hands the size of shovels so if i can do it im sure you can.

Onto the passenger side.
Things you will need;
1. 10mm socket set
2. set of long nose pliers

Firstly remove these 3 panels

Now get your tools

And start to undo the two bolts

It comes off really easily allowing you the space you need to change the head light

Removing the bulb is easy, as you just remove the power supply (in the back of the bulb) pop the clip out and your good to go.

Put everything back together and you'll be done :smile:

I hope this helps anyone else that had the same issue as me, in not being able to find a decent guide. If i have missed anything please comment to help others understand better :smile:

Cheers

Ideal, thanks for the tutorial. Got a pair of LED sidelights to fit but couldn't get to them

Absolute heaven this way without removing the bumper! So I gave it a go today, everything was all swell until I had to put back in those ****** clips!! Haven't even managed to get them back in place!

I used this guide to change my headlight bulbs today (for Philips x-tream power). I have BIG hands (size 11 gloves) and I managed to do it in around 30mins. The only issue I had was getting the power supply of the driver side as the air con pipes stopped me getting my wrist at the right angle to get it off but once off it was a doddle.

I put the bulb into the power supply with the 'tab' on the bulb facing upwards before pushing it into place as I thought it would be easier than trying to do it without being able to see the back of the bulb.
