Cat repellent

Our neighbors recently moved away and took their cats with them. They used to be really territorial and kept Tom and his boys away from our garden. But now word has gone out and Tom cat and the boys have left lovely "presents" for us to trod on. Very unique experience when trying to rush to work or better yet kids running in doors and jumping on the sofa with shoes.

After having a family meeting our Guinea pigs expressed a strong feeling of resentment towards tom and the boys.

Is there such a thing as a Cat repellent anyone can recommend?

Not that I'm aware of, but you can get those motion detectors that give off a very high pitched noise that are meant to deter anything that trips the beam.

I’ve been having an on and off battle for a few years now, there’s a few people around ours who have them as pets (vermin I hate them). I’ve bought motion detector things and on the whole they tend to work after a little while.

Tried the various scented things and it made no difference.

Get your own territorial cat.
Alternatively Lion shit works. Where you get it from though, different issue.

Yep those green crystals do b*gger all.

If its your front garden then maybe this is a no-go, but I hear a lot of good reports about leaving a half filled bottle of water in the garden.
Cats hate water, and reflections and will avoid it.

I've got dogs, and when I got peed off with cat muck on the back garden I put a few of our dogs poos all over the garden and left them for a few days before binning and replacing.
Did the trick as the cats thought christ, better not go on this garden its obviously got dogs here!!
The neighbours at the bottom of the garden moved not long after I collected all the cat poo up one day and took it round in a bag and said I believe this is yours, and I'll continue to bring it round until you do something about it.

I hate all this bulls*t about cats having the right to roam etc. If I let my dog have a dump on a neighbours garden they would be up in arms.
