Cheers fellas.

Danny197,
have a look at Aquagraphix in the traders section he has mentioned the price there.

How will that stand up to stone-chips, just removed mine to clean it today and was amazed at the stone damage on it. What is it actually coated with?

Looks great btw, much better than the Matte look

It lacquered using standard 2k lacquer just like the other body panels, it has had several coats so should stand up ok.

Now don't shoot me but unfortunately for me I'm not a fan of dipping as it just doesn't look right and is like wearing a Rolex from the lucky lucky man, although looking at those pictures it does look like they are getting better with the pattern.

Having said that it looks much better than the original diffuser and the quality looks bob on.

Fernandez,
I know what your saying and I probably agree, but dipping is a dam sight cheaper than real carbon fibre and opens up the possibility to having anything non porous done.
The pic's really don't do it justice, the film they use is a million times better than the black check patten some people call carbon!!

I'm going to have to agree with Fernandez here. I have a particular hatred of fake carbon. It just never looks right. But I have to admit that that's by far and away the best attempt I've seen in terms of pattern and execution.

Not for me sorry.

I've only ever seen some Mk3 escort parts done that look like the real thing and I really believe that the guy meant carbon skinning when he told me what they were.
