Hi
My 200 always pulling to right side on highways the tyres are new plus did wheels aligment.
What can it be? It driving me crazy .
Balljoints are checked too and not playing/free movement.
P.s chassis is clean!!

Only on major roads? Could be road camber, which pulling right would be the correct way on a lhd car...

Only on highways 60mph + even 40mph-+ it start pulling @ cruising
On good roads no camber/rubbish roads
Thats why it drives me crazy idunno on what to put the finger on!!

Both .it was on aligements shop or how ever it called lol .
It has done with computer and lasers.
And the guy went under car and tighted screws or something as needed by the graph in computer

If you drive on the wrong side of the road does it still pull in the same direction ??

Did you get an alignment print out ?

Didnt try
And nope ,they dont give but i saw the numbers on the computer 0.2 if iirc .
I think worth a try to drive on the other side [emoji16]

Just had my wheel alignment done after clutch change - steering wheel was a little off centre after subframe off and new tie rod ends.

These were the results - they don't look outstanding, but everything seems to be within limits and car feels fine

Mine also pulls slightly to the left (RHD) but only occasionally. I've put it down to the camber of the road as it doesn't always happen all the time. Also there's no unusual wear on the tyres (on the edges), suggesting tracking is fine....

Thanks for the sharing .
If its not outstanding why they didnt do better?
And when you say steering wheel out of center so you talking about the front wheels? There is no seperate thing
Front/back and thats it right? Then mine is ok :/

You know what, maybe its the road camber ,cant tell for sure .
Since my other cars dont do that on the same roads .
Maybe our cars and how its steering wheel work is more sensitive to the camber of the roads

I assume they just get it within tolerances and call it job done. It wasn't any sort of specialist, just a general tyre garage that offered alignment. I guess "outstanding" would be all black lines directly in the middle of the green bar but I wasn't paying for a flawless set up, just general alignment.

And yeah just front wheels affect the steering wheel (AFAIK)

It's either camber or if it's not then it'll be your actual steering wheel alignment. I had mine adjusted for my ad08rs and then adjusted back to normal when I took them off

Mate you might wanna shim that left rear wheel. its a full degree greater than the right wheel

Tyre wear mate

Will check again with my depth gauge tonight but wear looked pretty consistent when I checked before/over last 12K miles.

Based on the alignment info if there was increased wear, I would expect to see it on the inside edge of the tyre?

I know there's not much life left in the Conti 5's on the back now, they were down to around 3mm a good few thousand ago now and I know the wear rates on them are pretty quick. Will be grabbing some F1's to match the fronts I think.
