can some one please help me out?

im looking to get some new wheels and need to no if they will fit my 197?

fronts are 18x8.5 et42

rears are 18x9.5 et40

on my 1.6 mk3 i had porsche d90's 8" fronts and 9" rear so was hoping i would be able to go abit biger as the 197 has wider arches

The standard wheels are et68 so those fronts would stick out a further 38mm

The rears would stick out a further 52mm so unless you can see you have this much extra clearance i'd say it's a big fat no.

From what i've read on here a 25mm spacer on a standard wheel is about as far as you could go.
