Hi all,

I recently purchased my Clio 200 with cup chassis. Just wondered If anybody else gets a knock through the steering wheel when it's been idle almost like a lag from the motor kicking in? Could be cv joint or bearing just wondered if anybody else has similar on there 200

is it when ure driving straight or going round a corner?

Its only when I'm at a stand still, and when you turn the wheel left or right i.e if the yellow wheel band is at the top and you turn it off centre slightly feels like it's coming from the wheel console I'm thinking it may be a problem with the steering security lock?

mine does that, like a clunk when you drive away. i always thought it was just the steering lock coming off. not had any problems like.

Mine does it too but I thought it was to do with the screw I lost down there

Cheers guys glad its not just me...we'll put it down to one of the clio 'quirks' lol
