Is it worth the drive Rich!? I am sure I have heard of it before but I have never been! Has anyone else?

Paul... have a look on google maps street view and see what you think. Loads of goodroads in the lakes, but they are probably busier which isnt conducive to "blastage"!

did a lakes run cant remember if it was last year or year before but was just stuck in traffic alot and the roads once we got there werent as good and they were in such bad condition too, would have shook the cars to death if we'd had been doing spirited driving

Yeah its always good to take the camera. Some of (well most of ) the scenery is amazing up there. Cant really appreciate it blasting along but when an audi overheats, its the perfect opportunity!
