Build spec check (vin no.?)

anyone know if i can check the factory build spec of the car im buying?

i know VW has a code which can be decoded to tell exactly what it was when it left the factory


i want to be sure its got cup pack (has red callipers) but want to be double sure

You could ask on Renaultsport.co.uk (Jeremy or someone similar) with the reg number..

I just wanted to check it had genuine cup pack before I bought but I checked the colour coded on the shocks and it has.

Also wanted to check I recaro were factory fitted for warranty purposes.

Whether the speedlines were factory or retro fitted doesn't bother me.
