Brembo hc rust

ok, bought a brand new set of non oem brembo HC, they are fine but lack the black paint, and now a few weeks after being installed are already a little rusty.... I am thinking of getting them sanded down and using a zinc spray or brake caliper paint... or both anyone done this before? I should have gone OEM in the first place.... I've learned my lesson and next time will do for sure, please give me your ideas

Mine always get surface rust if I wash it. So guess it's somethink that happens with them. Someone else should be able to give mote info.

Sand down then spray with black hammerite, always worked well for me

5kyle8 I take it yours is a 200 still on OEM disks so you never had that issue, the surface rust after washing is normal, you dont get rust on the bell because its painted black, the Brembo HC bought outside reanult garage have no black paint on the bell so this part gets surface rust which will never be scratched away by itself, thanks BenW, good idea! I think I'll go that way, but the weather needs to get better....
