Brand new renault recaros

Popped into a ren sport specialist today to get some touch paint but i queried a price for a brand new set of recaros seats, he said a rough price of 800 a seat plus 400 worth of subframes? Am i wrong in thinking you dont need any new subframes for recaros.... But apart from that price didnt blow me over.

He said 2000 in all including subframes. but aren't i right in thinking that the subframes are exactly the same the standard ones? still 2 grands worth spent on a clio is alot. even tho i do want some.

The standard Renault seats have a different sub frame from the Recaros.

That price isn't actually right. It's way more than that.
when they properly look into it, that price of £800 is just the framework.
All the parts are listed separately on the Renault system but looks like a complete seat

Anyone know the price of new covers and if they just slip in the base. Or is it a complete unit you have to buy?
