Brake pads

Looking at Ferrodo ds 2500 all round(£210.00)Don't do track days or to much fast road driving.
A few questions please, are these overkill for my use,how is pedal feel and is there much noise.

ds2500 on my 197 were great - the harder they were used the better they felt - never any issues (did do a yearly brakes service)

bit of a swoosh on the grooved discs I ran but nothing to noisey

I've got DS2500 on the front and there great as above the hotter they get the better they would ive got them on with EBC drilled and grooved disks and I don't here any noise from them really good stopping power tho great on track

As everyone else has said, they'll be no use to you unfortunately. The standard pads would suit your needs much better. The standards will have a better cold peddle feel and probably work better at the temps you'll be at.

Save your money.

Thanks for the advice gents, bought myself some of mrpinks pins and will keep the pads standard.

regular brake service is probably better value than actually uprated pads

ps - don't forget always do rear brake service as well
