boot wont open!

have a slight problem, i cant get in my boot. has anyone ever had this problem before?
it seems to me that it jst doesn't unlock, i can lock it by pressing the black rubber button on the boot but it wont open it, nor does the key fob.

which button u pressin the one under the lip or the one in the diamond.

the button in diamond will lock

managed to open button earlier, by climbing in through the back and flicking a little white button over, which then manually pops the boot open, i think its it mechanism thats gone

you prob neede a new switch not the mecanism

through the winter i always give the door locks a spray with wd40 or spray grease to keep them working properly.

maybe the weather has gotten into the mechanism and seized something

thanks for your help everyone managed to get a mechanism for £20 off ebay, so will give tht a try first, its v cheapestg option, lol
