So, have been lurking on the forum for the past 4 years and though it was about time I became a paid member.
Have been on the clio197.net stand at a couple of shows.
I am going to start a progress thread soon!!!


My name is Dave.
I live near Oxford in a town called Didcot.
I own a Clio 200 Cup in Racing Blue with Recaros and Speedlines (black)
I have owned the Car from new which i got back in Sep 2009.


What drew me towards the car was going to the Renault World Series and watching the Clio Cup racers fly round Silverstone. Had a sit in one at the event and a week later was down my local Renault dealership having a test drive.
The clio was nothing like i had ever drive before and was not long before i placed my order, 3 long months later i was the proud owner of my first Renault sport and have not looked back since.

Nurburgring 2014


Last year (2014) I went to the Nurburgring and got the bug for the Norcliffe. Had such a great time and was chuffed to get under 10mins at my first visit. Will be making this an annual trip from now and am heading back at the end of August.

Looking forward to going to some more shows and track days next year next year.




The Car History


I have been have had the usual gripes with the car:
•Gear box (replaced under warranty)
•Top mount and shock replaced (replaced under warranty)
•Loom replaced on drivers Recaro seat
•Door seals split on B-pillar
•Both swivel ball joint bearings
•plus a dozen headling bulbs

Brakes:
Ktec Black Edition grooved discs
Ferado DS2500 racing pads
HEL braided hoses
Motul RBF 660 dot 4


exterior:
Speedines (black) 4 x Yokohama AD08R tyres


Interior:
Ultra racing rear strut brace
K-tec boot mat


The car is still pretty stock as have been planning what mods i want to carry out.
Have got to get the cambelt replaced soon as it is coming up to its 6yr service.
I have been saving hard and have got lots of parts planned to be added soon.
