Beginner Dual Action?

Yeah I hear rotary are much better for corrections but I don't wanna run the risk of wrecking my paint trying to make it clean lol. I know how gung ho I can be, that's why ill be using it on the good old trusty sport van first

I have started using a rotary and the results are much better and easier.

I'm using it with just a finish pad and a very very good compound. Total cost £130.

What I'm doing is low risk but I can still tell it's more risky than a DA but to be honest using the DA feels like I'm using a toy now. Still does a job though.

I have both an entry level DA and entry level Rotary.

Id say go rotary, its cheaper, better and easier. They weigh a lil' more but vibrate way less which makes a huge difference.

Just dont buy any heavy compound polishes or heavy pads and you will struggle to do any damage, in most cases a pad will destroy it self before the paint if you held it on for a while.

Using a rotary is way more rewarding then a DA so you are way less likely to just throw it in the shed after a panel.
