Base model steering wheel

Does any body know if the base model clio steering wheel is the same design as the cup, I know the cups in leather tho

ive got the 197 atm but have been told that the less basic model also fits, and as im wanting to get a retrim in alcantara then i buy the cheapo plastic one to get retrimed and then keep th OE for when i seel it, Just wanta know its the same design as the cup wheel?

Think it is you would better off asking on here if they got a wheel they selling due to wheel melt

There are slight differences in the leather and plastic one. The leather one (when leather is removed) will be a lot thiner and has different finish around the spokes. So trimming the plastic is a no go I'm afraid.

Is the cup one slightly smaller / thinner? I'm sure JCS has the steering wheel trim and it doesnt quite fit snugly.

There is quite a lot of padding on the FF wheel, which isn't fitted to the Cup, hence you need to pad out the rear section of the steering wheel trim if you want to fit.
