I'd be interested too but tbh honest one of the main appeals to this site is that it doesn't have advertising.

Pistonheads is a prime example of too many ads when they put them in the middle of threads.

I'd be very surprised to see it happen any time soon, I certainly feel no reason to push for it in my role on here, as Angel says, it just creates too much clutter and makes the place look untidy (meganesport is absolutely awful for how they have done it when you first land)

However, I may be inclined to push for a reintroduction of an initial homepage to the forum for some features, anything to keep DX busy and out of mischief

i use ad block so i wouldn't see them but there are ways of having banners that aren't obtrusive and would work for trader, site and end user.

Eventually there will be a tabbed home page where traders banners can be.
