Over the last 1000 miles in the megane i've had an average of 30.2mpg, and in the clio I averaged 29mpg so i'm saving money but with more boost!

Yeah couldn't agree more. Car is much happier on Super - smoother, less jumpy, very very rarely get the "kangaroo"

Running costs can be high with these cars, but it shouldn't come as a surprise to new owners - the info is out there about it and there was never any intention for these cars to be economical. But yep, worth every penny imo too!
