Alloy wheel weights

I have just had the two front tyres replaced on my car, I asked them to switch the wheels around so that the new rubber is on the back and the old rubber is on the front.

Just checked and noticed that the self adhesive weights have been removed from the back wheels (they were on the front) and in its place a clamp weight has been added to the inside of both alloys.

Is this correct? Should they have used the same type of weights or does that not matter?

on the inside shouldnt matter - on alloys i always like and fit stick on weights - thing is they have balanced them with all the counter weight on the inner edge of the wheel whcih is neater anyway

Thanks foxspeed, so nothing to worry about then?

It does look neater, just like the other type as I think it looks better. Must be a reason why Renault uses them rather than the Clip-on type.

For anyone who does not have a clue what I am talking about.

This is what was originally stuck on the inside of the wheel, a self-adhesive weight.

And this is what they used in its place, but clipped onto the inside not outside of the alloy.
