UPDATE. its +1 celsius and A/C is working.must be when it goes into minus that it shuts itself down.

Got in mine tonight and the temp was showing -2 degrees and couldn't hear the air-con pump click in.

But when you press the demister function 'AC' lights up??:confused1:

when you press the a/c switch you are only telling the body ecu you would like the a/c to come on - which if it meets the correct operating conditions the ecu will allow it to work - if not it stays off !
