Affixing rs badge to r27 front

I've seen this done a couple of times to 197s (lower grille)
But have no idea how they have done it, as the back of the badge is sticky
But surely this won't stick to the grille will it?

When I attached a ST badge to the front of my old car (focus st) I put super glue onto the back of the badge, the sticky bit, then stuck it onto the grill. Didn't move in the 4 1/2 years it was on there after that.

Ive just had it painted in Gloss black so don't really want to cover it in super glue, I dont know if it would adhere either :S

Aaaaa I see. Thought the grill was still textured plastic. The foam adhesive backing should stick just fine as it's designed to stick to paint and the name badges don't fall off the back of cars to often.
