Advantages/disadvantages of single exit on exhaust

So anyone knows?

Why are they using a single one on the R3 and a double on the clio Cup?
One advantage seems to be the weight. But any other?

Somebody know what it does to the sound?

grtz

Twin exhaust are pure asthetics and added weight as far as im concerned.

A single tip wont change the sound on a 4pot car

i'm thinking about making an single exit exhaust...in your opinion what is the best configuration??

kat / no kat

silenced middle?

any final silencer??

I've already read some stuff on the forum and I think it would be best to use a kat if you don't want the 2400rpm flat spot without kat or you should remap

You can buy Group N rally exhausts who have a single exit (bit like R3)

OMP has them:
