A wee question for those with factory Xenons

My question is to do with the headlight washers. I have one that spray's perfect on the headlight glass and the other is a bit "mad" and misses the glass and spray's too high.
The jet comes out of a slit on a ball at the end on the washer jet. Can this be adjusted? I have tried it with a coin in the slot but it was stiff and did not move.
Did not want to force it but is this the way to adjust the jet down a bit?

The way to adjust windscreen washers is to put a needle in the end and move, you won't do any damage to the headlight washers trying this as long as you're gentle

Thanks but I am not sure the headlamp washers have got the usual ball with a hole that you stick the pin into to adjust the direction of jet.
They are a bit crude and blast out the water from a slit in the washer jet nozzle. The slit is in a ball at the end of the washer jet and it's this that I think can be adjusted but not sure. May try to move it with a coin but don't want to break it.

Probably a slipped valve inside the nozzle. Easy enough to take it off the car, strip down and reassemble.
