The thread had come off my gear knob and was looking quite tatty. Found this on eBay : Gear Knob Cover for £4.99. Took around 15 min to get the old gear knob and leather off and then this new one on and looks like new. Was a bit fiddly tucking the leather in places but am happy with the result and beats paying full price for a proper replacement.
