200 Diffuser to a 197 (Difficaulty)

Simple question I can't seem to find the answer to...

How easy is it to fit the 200 diffuser to the 197. I came across these two articles which are border-line helpful:

But I think I read somewhere once, on here, that fitting a 200 diffuser to a 197 takes some modifications to the heat sheild?

Can someone clear this up for me, please?

i would say that the heat sheilds are the same, as the exhaust back box is the same minus th different tailpipe ( round straight cut rather the slash cut), so at a guess i would say you would need to modify your tail pipes in order to fit

Just the tailpipes I think otherwise it melts the surrounds

When you guys say modify the tail pipes, do you mean "saw them to fit", basically?

because the 200 tailpipes are slightly longer i think, cut down the tail pipe and get made some slip on tailpipes of same design as the 200

no mods to the heatshield

its easier if the 197 exhaust is standard as the slash cut pipes are smaller getting one to fit isnt that difficult if standard :thumbup:

As above, the pipes will likely need extending as I think they will be a little short.
