200 diffuser heat shield rattle!!

I've had my exhaust and diffuser tweaked about 3 times now and it is still rattling once it gets hot.. Its 100% not the exhaust which has had a center hanger added (like the akrapovic), stones have been emptied out of it and all sorts just cant fix the bloody thing.

Any one else had this problem?

Take a look at the heat shield between the centre and rear silencer. Near the rear axle.

What about it, buy a new one or bend it? (At work atm so cant get on the deck lol)

It's not expensive, i believe it's £60-70 here in Croatia and it's a long heatshield.

Could you replace the shield with heat proof tape?

Hi did you manage to solve the rattle as iv got the same problem as soon as the exhaust gets warm it rattles on the heat shield that's fastned to the diffuser, does it really need the shield or can I replace it with stick on stuff ? Cheers

Nope not fixed. Im 90% sure its the exhaust rattling on the metal heat funnel thing! Maybe I needs a dremel taking to it lol.

I don't know if it's the same rattle... you'll hear it as I take my foot off the accelerator. All I did was bend the heat shield sides flat on the parts near the exhaust and it's fine now

Ill take my diffiser off tmoz n dive it for the day, that will rule it out
