197 misting up

My 197 is mistin up quite bad could it be the cabin filter? I had a service 2k miles ago? I havnt got any water in the car ether

Is the car circulating air from inside or out?

Mine seems to mist up quite a lot too, think it varies depending on what I clean the glass with though :huh:

Outside circulating could that do it?

if its recirculating inside air it will mist up. shouldnt if its on outside air though

pull out the cabin filter and check it.

its in the passnager footwell next to centre console. takes 2 minutes.

mine was filthy when i got the car so changed it and improved it alot.

im thinking of getting my AC re gassed too to see if it makes a difference also

Dirty/greasy windows will assist in misting up alot. Give the inside a good clean.

theyre only about £6 or something

i just got mine of ebay. its a genuine renault one. you can probably get them from andrew paige or unipart cheaper.

Thats crazy for a bulb !!! My dealer gives me super good discount, but me and my family do run all renaults. So if they try and stitch us up, we just threaten to take our custom elsewhere.

Trick we used to use on goggles at work and also works well on mirrors - shaving foam instead of your usual windolene type stuff.........
