Sold my 197 cup on Saturday after almost 3 years of ownership. Mixed emotions but the issues I had (and rectified) with the car (gearbox replacement as a main 1) plus the 'potential' market flooding of quality 197/200s following the launch of the new clio sport made my mind up that time was right to part ways.
Didnt even advertise as word of mouth locally meant a phone call and discussion last Monday led to the new owner collecting on Saturday - he was very pleased with his purchase and I received the cash that i wanted.
I have my project 172 cup to keep me busy/entertained as well as the hunt for a replacement car.
Thanks for help received since I have used the forum, I will keep an eye out on here for the new owner. :thumbsup:
