197 Arriving tomorrow - Convert to Track Day Vehicle

I have been lurking here for a good few weeks now. I will be purchasing and collecting my RS197 in Red tomorrow and I can't wait.

This will be 90% Track day and 10% Road vehicle

I will be running it standard whilst I collect the parts I need.

Strip out the full interior and sell (Carpets, door cards, seats, belts, Airbags and steering wheel)
First thing will be a full 6 point Safety Devices Roll cage from Mark Fish Motorsport, then fitting
Install 2 x Bimarco Grips
Install 2 x Harness' (Not Sure which yet)
Remove and flock dashboard (Any removal details on here?)
Install Plumbed in fire Extinguisher kit

Any advice will be appreciated as I am sure that a few on here would have done this already

plans sound great!

If your going down that route, have you thought of just buying the Michelin Cup series kit? Includes the seats, roll cage, extinguisher and a few other parts.

You mean the kit through Monster Sport Europe? If so I did look at that but its £5K and then fit it all myself.

Plus I don't want to mess with the suspension as yet :001_unsure:

OMG These things are awesome. I have just spent a good few hours driving it back and........................WOW they are fun. After coming from the Classic Audi 'S' and 'RS' world for the last 10 years, this little thing is Epic!?!?!?!

Playing at 7500 RPM is like a drug... I am deffo a convert.
