08 Clio 197 Front Speaker Replacement

Hi guysi am looking into buying the Pioneer straight swap renault replacement speakers for my 197I've had a look around and I cannot for the life of me see a way to remove the front speaker grille to replace the stock speakers.i realise the back speaker grilles are easy to fit so I need no help there.any advice would be perfect then I can order them ASAP!

Pretty sure they just pop off if you use something flat and wide like a trim tool to prize the edges.

Yeah I was hoping they wouldn't have umbrella clips beneath them or something that I might snap. Last thing I want is duffed interior trim!

any idea if there's a system similar to the back grilles on the front ones?

Speaker covers just pull off. Only ones which are majorly different at the tweeters

And I'm assuming the tweeters just need a flat head screwdriver under the rim?

Sorry guys, just my last car had a great standard sound system so I'm new to this stuff.

There's a small slot underneath the speaker unit. Access is via the door pocket. Jam the key into the slot and give it a wiggle. The cover should pop right off.

be careful with the tweeter as they lift up about half inch and then are tight to fully unclip and pull out, £45 to replace the tweeter grill
