So not much has happened recently apart from some HEL braided brake lines,a new rear calliper, new handbrake cables and a fresh MOT! Something else has caught my eye though and I’m in 2 minds wether to scratch the itch. But prices seem all over the place for these things, any advice on pricing...

Raised the front a couple more mm’s, and also had it aligned. The MOT is due mid October, and I’m pretty sure it will need a new rear calliper. So I’ve ordered some black HEL braided brake hose’s and will change the fluid at the time.

With using the OEM top mounts not sure how much camber adjustment il have. On closer inspection I’ve noticed it’s actually rubbing on the bumper at the front of the arch :think: Going to have a fettle with the ride hide and tidy this up abit with the dremmel tomorrow morning.

After putting some miles on the car I’d definitely say they were an upgrade on the H&R springs. But under very spirited cornering there is a tiny amount of rubbing on the front arch. Ideally I don’t want to higher the front anymore, has anyone trimmed the lip off there wings using a dremmel or...

Not really tried pushing on to much yet with the tyre like that, but I’ve had a replacement fitted today so after the 5am drive to work tomorrow I might know a little bit more :tearsofjoy: The ride is much better than before imo, firm but not so harsh or crashy.

Coilovers and drive shaft are fitted now along with a gearbox oil change for good measure. Looks a little more purposeful now in my opinion. But I have noticed this while I was adjusting the height. :censored:

Got round to fitting the Mega Carbon arch spats this morning. Quality and fit is perfect! And they compliment the black wheels well in my opinion.

So over the weekend I took a trip to the Peak District with my better half and managed to cover just under 300 miles on a variety of roads. Couldn’t be happier with how the car performs now, so much better low down, all the cold start issues iradicated. Definitely money well spent :thumb...
