Yet another issue with the 200, help appreciated

All as you expect, press the button to start and nothing. Lights on dash all ok. I was thinking starter motor too, I just assumed it was the key. If there is no fault codes then I would think its the starter. Thanks

Yet another issue with the 200, help appreciated

Guys, jumped in the 200 today (keyless) and it wouldn't start. Tried the usual and checked all online, steering lock etc. Then after 30 mins its all working again. Seems odd that it just jumped into life. Any ideas? I will go check if there are any fault codes on it tomorrow. Thanks

Clutch release bearing sound or ??

Guys, turns out it was the Clutch slave cylinder. The LUK one was faulty. I was able to get a sachs locally for £65, got it done yesterday and all is well. Now to chase CPFL and see what they will do for me, cost me 6 hours labour to get done.

Clutch release bearing sound or ??

I believe so, he is a Renault tech so I assume he knows what he is doing. Will hear the outcome. I bought another CSC to let him install if he thinks the other is faulty. Then I can see what CPFL and LUK say to see if I have a chance to get labour costs or part of back.

Clutch release bearing sound or ??

I am taking it into them tomorrow to inspect. Its not changed to a higher pitch noise too. Sometimes it disappears all together. Would rather leave it right, hopefully I can do a deal on labour and it wont take to long now pulling it out again.

Clutch release bearing sound or ??

Yes, just thinking now if its a bad bearing. As it does happen with anything you get a one off bad part. Im out the cost to pull the gear box out again and fit a new one. Bought the kit from carpartsforless (eurocarparts). They want the part sent back to send to LUK to be inspected and if so...

Clutch release bearing sound or ??

Guys, I just bought a 200 63k miles. Clutch bite point was very low and when pushing on trying to change gears quickly it just doesn't like it. It felt like you had to be gentle with it. Also 5k miles ago it had the 3rd gear synchro done. I bought a new LUK clutch kit with slave cylinder and...

New to Renaultsport, what to do?

Guys, thanks very much for the input. Great advice. Its been a long time from being on any forum with this level of advice and enthusiasm. Its not a daily, I have a MK7 Golf R for the daily. Basically I have wanted one for a number of years and now see the newer car is a 1.6T having lost...

New to Renaultsport, what to do?

Thanks for the input, I shall get some parts ordered from powerflex and steering wheel retrim sorted asap. Mine is a Sept 09 car so the B14 wont do. I am not into going really low losing the damper travel, more about making it handle better if it is possible on springs alone. The previous...

New to Renaultsport, what to do?

Guys, just bought a 200 with cup pack, recaros and speedlines. Sitting at 63k miles. Had the gearbox issues sorted with a rebuild, dephaser, belts etc all done recently. Its one of those cars as I was growing up I wanted a 182/197 at the time but wasn't in the position to do so. For the...
