I'm guessing your talking about the inner arches? If so there removed front and back because when it was repaired two were damaged, rather than buy new ones it was easier to remove them all together. No problem with suspension only thing is you obviously get a bit more noise from under the arch...

Ill take some photos tomorrow for you, but all they are is sheets of checker plate, I had them bent to shape by a local Fabrication shop (it was easier than me messing about with a vice and some grips) and then just cut them to fit and riveted into place.

It came from Pure Motorsport, but it isnt' the Quality that I was expecting for the money if I'm honest, The finish is quite poor both on the fiberglass and the carbon, hopefully its nothing I cant sort out with some wet n dry and a bit of effort but still not what I was expecting.

Thinking a bit out of the box, how about removing the factory trim completely and replacing it with some stainless or ali sheeting bent to fit around the central tunnel (you could even dip or paint it to suit the interior) that way you could have the shifter exposed if you wished and still keep...

Have any of you guys stripped down your dashboards to save on weight, to just leave the essentials. Or have you just removed the dash all together? Any pictures and advice would be appreciated.

Thanks for the links suj, I'll look into it later this evening. Christopher, the trim looks like it would fit back into place, however I'm guessing it will need a bit of modifying to work. If you are wanting to get one of the CAE shifters though, I would certainly encourage it!

Also if you guys can offer any advice, I am considering removing the door card and replacing with either ali or some sort of plastic sheeting. If you know where best I can get the right kind of material and what its call that would be a great help.
