Wow, they're heavy. Glad you got a chance to try something with a different set up. But of course it's never the same as if it was your car. Agreed the suspension probably made most of the difference but it would have been helped a LOT with bump and rebound by those lovely lightweight wheels!

My friend has a 67 resprayed in what he calls "arrest me red" and his wife has a Mach 1 with the big engine, it's utterly glorious. The 67 is mint. The Mach 1 is sat on their drive rotting. Really sad. Would love a nice Mustang!
